We’re excited to welcome you to Frameline50, the 50th San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival! Before you arrive in the Bay Area, we suggest reviewing our handy Filmmaker FAQ.
Frameline50 runs from June 17–27, 2026. As always, the second weekend of the Festival falls during Pride in San Francisco.
The Frameline50 program will go live on our website on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
Official Frameline50 laurels are available here.
Each Festival film receives two (x2) Guest Accreditations. The accreditation provides you and another member of your film team with a badge and special benefits.
Guest badges are granted at the discretion of the Festival and are personal and non-transferable. Accreditation provides a variety of benefits, including access to screenings, events, networking opportunities, and specialized Festival services.
Please reach out to hospitality@frameline.org with questions.
Badges can be picked up at the Guest Services Desk, which is located at the Festival Hub at 531 Castro Street during the following times:
*Morning badge pick up will NOT be available at the Festival Hub on Monday, June 22, but will be available from 2–6 PM.
Please email the Guest Services Team at hospitality@frameline.org as soon as possible to ensure your guest benefits remain uninterrupted.
Accredited Guests have access to the Festival Lounge, Industry Day (Monday, June 22), and select parties and events, if capacity allows. Although your badge is NOT a ticket, accreditation also entitles you to the following ticket benefits:
Complimentary Tickets to YOUR Film’s Screening(s)
Each film is allotted a specific number of complimentary tickets based on the screening venue’s capacity:
Voucher Codes for Complimentary Tickets
Each accredited guest will be provided with a unique voucher code redeemable for ten (x10) complimentary screening tickets. (Some exclusions may apply.)
Voucher codes may be redeemed online or at any Box Office location. Tickets are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis. If you do not have a ticket, you are not guaranteed a seat.
Using Your Badge for Day-Of & At-Rush Tickets
Seeing a film on the fly? Thirty (30) minutes prior to any public Festival screening, you may also use your badge at our on-site Box Office locations to redeem a complimentary ticket. (Subject to availability.)
If you don’t have a ticket for a film that’s “At Rush,” you must join the Rush Line before using your badge to redeem a complimentary ticket.
Please Note: Your badge is NOT a ticket. You must request comp tickets to all screenings other than your own at the on-site Box Office or by using your voucher code online. Please have your code ready for on-site purchases.
Discounted Tickets
Accredited Guests may also purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate. To allow you to purchase discounted tickets online, the Guest Services Team will send you a unique discount code by early June; please DO NOT distribute the code.
During the Festival, you may also present your badge at any Box Office location in order to receive the discounted price when purchasing tickets in person.
Remember: Your badge is non-transferable.
Each film is allotted a specific number of complimentary tickets based on the screening venue’s capacity:
Please contact the Guest Services Team at hospitality@frameline.org if you do not plan on using all of your allotted tickets.
If you would like additional tickets, please purchase them online or at any Box Office location.
Please Note: Filmmaker reserves (reserved seats) only apply to your allotted comp tickets (listed above). Even if you request or purchase additional comps, we cannot reserve additional seats. Thank you!
Each Accredited Guest will receive their film’s Welcome Packet via email from the Guest Services Team. All tickets, vouchers, and discount codes will also be sent via email from the Guest Services Team.
Unless otherwise noted, please arrive at least 45 minutes before your screening to check in with a Theater Host, Frameline Programmer, or Venue Manager. They will be outside to greet you, introduce you to the Frameline50 staff member running your Intro and Q&A session, and assist you with any questions you may have prior to your screening.
Due to staffing and scheduling, we cannot guarantee tech checks, though our Operations Team will try their best to accommodate your request. To ask for a tech check, please reach out to hospitality@frameline.org and they will connect you to the appropriate team member.
Festival Parties
This year’s official parties include the Opening Night Party (June 17 at The Foundry SF) and the Pride Kickoff Party (June 26 at The Chapel).
A limited number of film tickets to the Festival’s Big Nights will be made available for Accredited Guests. This number will depend on availability. We will contact Accredited Guests by email within 72 hours of the event with more information about how to RSVP if tickets are available. Otherwise, Accredited Guests are welcome to purchase tickets for Opening Night, Centerpiece, Pride Kickoff, and Closing Night films.
The Festival Directory will be distributed in June so that you can easily connect with other filmmakers and industry professionals who are attending the Festival.
For this year’s Print Source List, please visit our Press page.
Note: Although there are some bus lines that run all night on limited schedules, the MUNI and BART (subway and rail lines) end service around midnight, which makes taxis and rideshares (Uber, Lyft, Waymo) a better option for some guests.
