After reviewing our Membership benefits and levels, be sure to JOIN or RENEW today!
Frameline Members are foundational to the work we do — both during the annual San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival and beyond. Our membership program sustains Frameline’s mission, uplifts LGBTQ+ films and voices, and protects the future of independent queer media.

An annual membership is a direct investment in Frameline’s year-round work. If you’re interested in supporting Frameline by joining our membership program — or renewing or upgrading your current membership — there’s a level of Frameline Membership that’s right for everyone.
Regardless of level, all Frameline Members receive the following benefits:
Please Note: *Some exclusions may apply. **You must join or renew by April 15 of the given Festival year and remain valid through the Festival; guides are only mailed within the U.S.

Please review the Frameline Membership Terms & Conditions.
Please Note: Festival benefits are valid only for the Festival year purchased and, if not used, do not accrue into the following year. All Membership sales are final.

Festival benefits are valid only for the Festival year your Membership was purchased in. If benefits are not used, they do not accrue and cannot be used the following year.
You can select either Email or Membership Number (aka your Member ID #) to sign in.
If you don’t remember your password or don’t remember making one, click Forgotten Password. Make sure to enter the email address your Membership account is linked to.
If you can’t remember your Member ID #, this is located in your Welcome/Thank You for Renewing email. It’s also on your Membership purchase receipt; this is NOT the same as your Customer ID, which you do not need after you become a Member.
No, all Membership sales are final.
No, any transactions placed without accessing and/or applying your Member benefits will not be refunded or exchanged.
Make sure you’re subscribed to our email list! Please Note: If you unsubscribe from our e-news list — or any other emails from Frameline — the system unsubscribes you from all of our emails.
No. To ensure full compliance with current tax laws, the IRS does not allow DAF/QCD grants to be used for memberships that include benefits such as festival tickets, passes, or gala invitations.
Because of these rules, we are unable to apply your DAF/QCD gift toward a standard Frameline membership that includes these perks.
Your Gold & Platinum Cards provide full access to Frameline’s in-person screenings, but we are continuing our 2024 and 2025 practice of complimentary registration for smaller venues.
You will need to complete online registration to secure complimentary tickets. Before the Festival program goes live you will receive instructions on how to redeem them for tickets to Festival films at smaller venues.
You will sign into your Frameline account on our home page to access these. After signing in, go to the page of the film you want to see, click “Book Tickets,” and you should see a ticket type called “Gold/Platinum Access”.
All screenings that take place at The Castro Theatre will NOT require online registration; you may simply show up with your Gold/Platinum Card. Same with Opening Night and Pride Kickoff parties.
Instructions will be sent out closer to the ticket sale date.
A Prestige Pass allows the bearer admission to most of the Festival screenings being held at The Castro Theatre. Restrictions: Opening Night, Centerpiece, Pride Kick-off, and Closing Night are not part of this pass. More details will be made available closer to the Festival.
Frameline will return to The Castro Theatre in June 2026. The full lineup of Frameline50 venues will be announced in May 2026.
The locations and hours for the Frameline50 Box Office and Festival Lounge will be announced at a later date.
Some hours at the Lounge will be restricted, depending on private events.
When the Frameline50 program is announced in May 2026, we will announce ticket sale dates. The tickets will be available for purchase on our website or at any in-person Box Office location.
Our Membership Team will let you know pickup times and locations closer to the Festival dates.
For Members whose levels do not allow for free shirts, you will be able to purchase shirts at a discounted price. Those prices and purchasing hours/locations will be announced closer to the Festival date.
These will be updated closer to the ticket sale date.
The meaning of a show being AT RUSH is when all advance tickets have sold out. Sometimes we release more tickets for a few At Rush shows as part of the daily ticket release during the Festival. We will have a Rush line at shows too, meaning more tickets may be available just before showtime that can be accessed by those who decide to try and wait in that line.
